तेन मे सर्ववासानां श्मशाने रमते मन: । न्यग्रोधशाखासंछन्ने निर्भुग्नस्रग्विभूषिते

tena me sarvavāsānāṁ śmaśāne ramate manaḥ | nyagrodhaśākhāsaṁchannē nirbhugnasragvibhūṣite ||

അതുകൊണ്ട് എല്ലാ വാസസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലുമെൻ മനസ്സ് ഏറ്റവും അധികം ശ്മശാനത്തിലേയാണ് രമിക്കുന്നത്. ആ ശ്മശാനം ആൽമരത്തിന്റെ ശാഖകളാൽ നിഴലേറ്റതും, മരിച്ചവരുടെ ശരീരങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് പൊട്ടി വീണ തകർന്ന പുഷ്പമാലകളാൽ അലങ്കൃതവുമാണ്.
