रन्तिदेवश्व सांकृत्यो वसिष्ठाय महात्मने । अर्घ्य प्रदाय विधिवल्लेभे लोकाननुत्तमान्
Rantidevaś ca Sāṅkṛtyo Vasiṣṭhāya mahātmane | arghyaṃ pradāya vidhivāl lebhe lokān anuttamān ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—സാങ്കൃതിയുടെ പുത്രനായ രാജാവ് രന്തിദേവൻ മഹാത്മാവായ വസിഷ്ഠമുനിക്ക് വിധിപൂർവ്വം അർഘ്യം അർപ്പിച്ചു; ആ സത്കാരഫലമായി അവൻ അനുത്തമമായ ശ്രേഷ്ഠ ലോകങ്ങൾ പ്രാപിച്ചു.
