Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
क्रीडन्ति सर्पर्नकुला मृगैर्व्याच्रिश्व मित्रवत् । प्रभावाद् दीप्ततपसां सैनिकर्षान्महात्मनाम्
krīḍanti sarpā nakulā mṛgair vyāghraiś ca mitravat | prabhāvād dīptatapasāṃ sannikarṣān mahātmanām ||
ദീപ്തമായ തപസ്സുള്ള മഹാത്മാക്കളുടെ പ്രഭാവവും സാന്നിധ്യവും മൂലം അവിടെ നകുലങ്ങൾ സർപ്പങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം കളിച്ചു; വന്യമൃഗങ്ങൾ വ്യാഘ്രങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം സുഹൃത്തുക്കളെപ്പോലെ പാർത്തു।
