Adhyāya 122 — Śruta-vṛtta-yukta Brāhmaṇa and the Ethics of Dāna
Maitreya–Vyāsa Saṃvāda
।। स कीट एवमाभाष्य ऋषिणा सत्यवादिना । प्रतिस्मृत्याथ जग्राह पादौ मूर्थ्नि कृताउ्जलि:
sa kīṭa evam ābhāṣya ṛṣiṇā satyavādinā | pratismṛtyātha jagrāha pādau mūrdhni kṛtāñjaliḥ ||
സത്യവാദിയായ ഋഷിയുമായി ഇങ്ങനെ സംഭാഷിച്ച ശേഷം അവൻ (മുൻ കീടഭാവം) ഓർമ്മിച്ചു. പിന്നെ കൃതാഞ്ജലിയായി ഋഷിയുടെ പാദങ്ങൾ പിടിച്ച് തന്റെ ശിരസ്സു അവരുടെ പാദങ്ങളിൽ വെച്ചു നമസ്കരിച്ചു.
