Praise of Ācāra as the Basis of Longevity, Fame, and Prosperity
न ब्राह्मणान् परिवदेन्नक्षत्राणि न निर्दिशेत् । तिथिं पक्षस्य न ब्रूयात् तथास्यायुर्न रिष्यते
na brāhmaṇān parivaden nakṣatrāṇi na nirdiśet | tithiṁ pakṣasya na brūyāt tathāsyāyur na riṣyate ||
ബ്രാഹ്മണരെ നിന്ദിക്കരുത്; നക്ഷത്രങ്ങൾ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി നടന്നു തിരിയരുത്; പക്ഷത്തിലെ തിഥിയും പ്രസ്താവിക്കരുത്. ഇങ്ങനെ ഒഴിവാക്കിയാൽ മനുഷ്യന്റെ ആയുസ്സ് ക്ഷയിക്കുകയില്ല.
