त॑ मुमोचयिषुर्वज्जी वातवर्षेण पाण्डवम् । मोहयामास तत्कालमश्वसेनस्त्वमुच्यत
taṁ mumocayiṣur vajrī vātavarṣeṇa pāṇḍavam | mohayāmāsa tatkālam aśvasenas tv amucyata ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു— അവനെ മോചിപ്പിക്കണമെന്നാഗ്രഹിച്ച് വജ്രധാരി ഇന്ദ്രൻ അതേ നിമിഷം കാറ്റും മഴയും ഉയർത്തി പാണ്ഡവനായ അർജുനനെ മയക്കി; അങ്ങനെ തക്ഷകന്റെ പുത്രൻ അശ്വസേന ആ അപകടത്തിൽ നിന്ന് രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു.
