धर्मराजे ह्ाृतिप्रीत्या पूर्णचन्द्र इवामले । प्रजानां रेमिरे तुल्यं नेत्राणि हृदयानि च
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
dharmarāje hṛtiprītyā pūrṇacandra ivāmale |
prājānāṃ remire tulyaṃ netrāṇi hṛdayāni ca ||
ധർമ്മരാജ യുദ്ധിഷ്ഠിരനോടുള്ള ഹൃദയപൂർവമായ സ്നേഹത്താൽ—കലയില്ലാത്ത പൂർണ്ണചന്ദ്രനെപ്പോലെ നിർമ്മലനും മനോഹരനും ആയതിനാൽ—പ്രജകൾ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ കണ്ടാൽ അവരുടെ കണ്ണുകളും ഹൃദയങ്ങളും ഒരുമിച്ച് ആനന്ദത്തിൽ ഉല്ലസിച്ചു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സാന്നിധ്യമാത്രം എല്ലാവർക്കും സ്വാഭാവികമായ ഒരേപോലുള്ള സന്തോഷം പകരുമായിരുന്നു.
