तुल्येष्वस्त्रोपदेशेषु सौष्ठवेन च वीर्यवान् । एक: सर्वकुमाराणां बभूवातिरथो<र्जुन:
tulyeṣv astropadeśeṣu sauṣṭhavena ca vīryavān | ekaḥ sarvakumārāṇāṃ babhūvātiratho 'rjunaḥ ||
അസ്ത്രോപദേശം എല്ലാവർക്കും തുല്യമായി ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നുവെങ്കിലും, വീര്യവാനായ അർജുനൻ തന്റെ പ്രത്യേക മികവുകൊണ്ട് എല്ലാ കുമാരന്മാരിലും ഒറ്റയ്ക്കു അതിരഥനായി.
