Pāṇḍu’s Marriages, Conquests, and Triumphal Return (पाण्डोर्विवाह-विजय-प्रत्यागमनम्)
सत्यमेतन्महाबाहो यथा वदसि भारत । विश्वासात् ते प्रवक्ष्यामि संतानाय कुलस्य न:
satyam etan mahābāho yathā vadasi bhārata | viśvāsāt te pravakṣyāmi santānāya kulasya naḥ ||
അവൾ പറഞ്ഞു—“മഹാബാഹു ഭീഷ്മാ! ഹേ ഭാരതാ, നീ പറയുന്നതുപോലെ തന്നെയാണ് സത്യം. നിന്നിൽ വിശ്വാസം വെച്ച്, നമ്മുടെ കുലത്തിന്റെ സന്താനപരമ്പര നിലനിൽക്കേണ്ടതിന് ഞാൻ നിന്നോട് ഒരു കാര്യം പറയുന്നു.”
