ज्ञानस्यैवेह माहात्म्यं प्रसंगादिह शोभनम् एवं पाशुपतं योगं कथितं त्वीश्वरेण तु

jñānasyaiveha māhātmyaṃ prasaṃgādiha śobhanam evaṃ pāśupataṃ yogaṃ kathitaṃ tvīśvareṇa tu

ഇവിടെ ഈ മംഗളപ്രസംഗത്തിൽ മോക്ഷദായകമായ ജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെ മഹത്വം മനോഹരമായി പ്രസ്താവിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ഇങ്ങനെ പാശുപതയോഗം സ്വയം ഈശ്വരൻ ഉപദേശിച്ചു।
