ध्यानयज्ञः, संसार-विष-निरूपणम्, पाशुपतयोगः, परा-अपरा विद्या, चतुर्वस्था-विचारः (अध्यायः ८६)

तदाकाशं च विज्ञानं शब्दजं व्योमसंभवम् तथैव विप्रा विज्ञानं स्पर्शाख्यं वायुसंभवम्

tadākāśaṃ ca vijñānaṃ śabdajaṃ vyomasaṃbhavam tathaiva viprā vijñānaṃ sparśākhyaṃ vāyusaṃbhavam

അതുതന്നെ ആകാശം; ശബ്ദജന്യമായി വ്യോമത്തിൽ നിന്നുയരുന്ന അതേ വിജ്ഞാനം. അതുപോലെ, ഹേ വിപ്രന്മാരേ, സ്പർശം എന്ന വിജ്ഞാനം വായുവിൽ നിന്നു ജനിക്കുന്നു॥
