ध्यानयज्ञः, संसार-विष-निरूपणम्, पाशुपतयोगः, परा-अपरा विद्या, चतुर्वस्था-विचारः (अध्यायः ८६)

मद्रक्तश्चाभ्यसेद्ध्यानं गुरुसंपर्कजं ध्रुवम् न बुध्यति तथा ध्याता स्थाप्य चित्तं द्विजोत्तमाः

madraktaścābhyaseddhyānaṃ gurusaṃparkajaṃ dhruvam na budhyati tathā dhyātā sthāpya cittaṃ dvijottamāḥ

ഹേ ദ്വിജോത്തമന്മാരേ! എന്നിൽ അനുരക്തനായവൻ മാത്രമേ ഗുരുസമ്പർക്കത്തിൽ നിന്നുയരുന്ന സ്ഥിരധ്യാനം അഭ്യസിക്കേണ്ടത്; അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ധ്യാതാവ് ചിത്തം സ്ഥാപിച്ചാലും തത്ത്വം യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ ബോധ്യമാകില്ല।
