Adhyaya 71: पुरत्रयवृत्तान्तः—ब्रह्मवरदानम्, मयकृतत्रिपुर-निर्माणम्, विष्णुमाया-धर्मविघ्नः, शिवस्तुति, त्रिपुरदाहोपक्रमः
कल्पद्रुमसमाकीर्णं गजवाजिसमाकुलम् नानाप्रसादसंकीर्णं मणिजालैः समावृतम्
kalpadrumasamākīrṇaṃ gajavājisamākulam nānāprasādasaṃkīrṇaṃ maṇijālaiḥ samāvṛtam
അത് കല്പവൃക്ഷങ്ങളാൽ നിറഞ്ഞതും, ആനകളും കുതിരകളും കൊണ്ട് കവിഞ്ഞതും; അനേകം ഭംഗിയുള്ള പ്രാസാദങ്ങളാൽ സമാകീർണ്ണവും, മാണിക്യജാലങ്ങളാൽ ചുറ്റപ്പെട്ടതുമായിരുന്നു।
