ചിത്രകനു പുത്രന്മാർ ജനിച്ചു—വിഫൃഥു, പൃഥു; അശ്വഗ്രീവ, സുബാഹു; കൂടാതെ സുധാസൂക, ഗവേക്ഷണ. പതി (ശിവൻ) എന്ന അദൃശ്യനിയന്ത്രണത്തിൽ ധർമ്മം നിലനിൽക്ക വംശപരമ്പര തുടർന്നു.
