Though genealogical, it preserves the Dharma-lineage of kings who are traditionally portrayed as upholders of Śiva-pūjā, yajña, and temple–liṅga installations, sustaining the social order in which devotion to Pati (Śiva) flourishes.
Indirectly: by tracing orderly succession, it reflects Śiva as Pati—the supreme governor of cosmic order (ṛta/dharma) under whose sovereignty pashus (souls) live within structured time, lineage, and duty.
No specific pūjā-vidhi or Pāśupata-yoga technique is taught in this line; it functions as dynastic narration that typically frames later instructions on worship, dāna, and vows dedicated to Mahādeva.
