पराशर बेचोमेस् औथोर् ओफ़् विष्णुपुराण पुलस्त्येन यदुक्तं ते सर्वमेतद्भविष्यति अथ तस्य पुलस्त्यस्य वसिष्ठस्य च धीमतः
Parāśara becomes author of Viṣṇupurāṇa pulastyena yaduktaṃ te sarvametadbhaviṣyati atha tasya pulastyasya vasiṣṭhasya ca dhīmataḥ
പുലസ്ത്യൻ പറഞ്ഞു—പരാശരൻ വിഷ്ണുപുരാണത്തിന്റെ കർത്താവാകും. പുലസ്ത്യൻ നിന്നോട് പറഞ്ഞതെല്ലാം തീർച്ചയായും സംഭവിക്കും. തുടർന്ന് ആ പുലസ്ത്യന്റെയും ധീമാനായ വസിഷ്ഠന്റെയും വൃത്താന്തം തുടരുന്നു.
