सूर्यरथ-रचना, ध्रुव-प्रेरणा, मास-गणाः च

Jyotish-chakra: Surya’s Motion and Monthly Retinues

पौरुषेयो वधश्चैव यातुधानावुदाहृतौ एते वसन्ति वै सूर्ये मासयोः शुचिशुक्रयोः

pauruṣeyo vadhaścaiva yātudhānāvudāhṛtau ete vasanti vai sūrye māsayoḥ śuciśukrayoḥ

‘പൗരുഷേയ’യും ‘വധ’യും—ഇവർ യാതുധാനരെന്ന് ഉദാഹൃതർ. ശുചി, ശുക്ര മാസങ്ങളിൽ ഇവർ സൂര്യനിൽ വസിക്കുന്നു; ശിവൻ (പതി) അധീനത്തിൽ തന്നെയാണ് സർവശക്തികളും തത്തത് സ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നത്।
