भुवनकोशविन्यासनिर्णयः (ज्योतिर्गति-वृष्टिचक्र-वर्णनम्)

विरिञ्चोच्छ्वासजाः सर्वे प्रवहस्कन्धजास्ततः पक्षजाः पुष्कराद्याश् च वर्षन्ति च यदा जलम्

Transliteration

viriñcocchvāsajāḥ sarve pravahaskandhajāstataḥ pakṣajāḥ puṣkarādyāś ca varṣanti ca yadā jalam

Translation

ഈ മേഘങ്ങളൊക്കെയും വിരിഞ്ചി (ബ്രഹ്മാ)യുടെ ഉച്ഛ്വാസത്തിൽ നിന്നു ജനിച്ചവയാണ്. അവയിൽ നിന്ന് ‘പ്രവഹ’ വർഗ മേഘങ്ങൾ ഉദ്ഭവിക്കുന്നു; അവയുടെ ശാഖകളിൽ നിന്ന് ചിറകുള്ള പുഷ്കരാദികൾ ജനിച്ച്, കാലം വന്നാൽ ജലം മഴയായി വർഷിക്കുന്നു.
