Suta Goswami (narrating the creation sequence as taught in the Linga Purana)
It links Vedic fire-ritual symbolism (ghee, wood, Agni, smoke) to cosmic manifestation, reminding the worshipper that outer offerings mirror inner tattva-evolution under Pati (Śiva), the ultimate Lord of the Linga.
Even while describing Brahmā’s exhalation and elemental processes, the verse implies a governed order: Shiva-tattva as Pati remains the transcendent regulator, while lower agents (Agni, Viriñci, vāyu) function as instruments within His cosmic administration.
Ritually, it points to homa (ghee and fuel producing dhūma) as a sacred analogue of creation; yogically, it hints at prāṇa (breath/wind) as a causal force—supporting Pāśupata-style innerization where breath and offering become internal worship.
