मेरुवर्णनम्—प्रमाण, दिग्विभाग, देवपुरी-विमान-निवासाः

चतुरशीतिसाहस्रम् उत्सेधेन प्रकीर्तितः प्रविष्टः षोडशाधस्ताद् विस्तृतः षोडशैव तु

Transliteration

caturaśītisāhasram utsedhena prakīrtitaḥ praviṣṭaḥ ṣoḍaśādhastād vistṛtaḥ ṣoḍaśaiva tu

Translation

അതിന്റെ ഉയരം എൺപത്തിനാലായിരം (അളവുകൾ) എന്നു പ്രസിദ്ധം. അത് താഴേക്ക് പതിനാറ് (അളവ്) വരെ പതിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; വീതിയിലും അത്ര തന്നെ പതിനാറ് (അളവ്) വരെ വ്യാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
