Shloka 24

सप्तद्वीप-सप्तसमुद्र-वर्णनम् तथा प्रियव्रतवंश-राज्यविभागः

नाम्ना तु धातकेश्चैव धातकीखण्डमुच्यते हव्यो ऽप्यजनयत् पुत्राञ् छाकद्वीपेश्वरः प्रभुः

nāmnā tu dhātakeścaiva dhātakīkhaṇḍamucyate havyo 'pyajanayat putrāñ chākadvīpeśvaraḥ prabhuḥ

ധാതകന്റെ നാമത്താലും ഇത് ‘ധാതകേശ’ എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു; അതിനാൽ ‘ധാതകീ-ഖണ്ഡം’ എന്നും പറയുന്നു. അവിടെ ശാകദ്വീപാധീശ്വരനായ പ്രഭു ഹവ്യനും പുത്രന്മാരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
