युगधर्मवर्णनम् — चतुर्युग, गुण, धर्मपाद, तथा वार्तोत्पत्ति

प्रादुरासंस्तदा तासां वृक्षास्ते गृहसंज्ञिताः सर्ववृत्त्युपभोगस्तु तासां तेभ्यः प्रजायते
Transliteration
prādurāsaṃstadā tāsāṃ vṛkṣāste gṛhasaṃjñitāḥ sarvavṛttyupabhogastu tāsāṃ tebhyaḥ prajāyate
Translation
അപ്പോൾ അവരുടെ വേണ്ടി ‘ഗൃഹം’ എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ട ആ വൃക്ഷങ്ങൾ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു. അവയിൽ നിന്നുതന്നെ ആ ജീവികൾക്ക് ജീവിതോപാധിയുടെ എല്ലാ ഭോഗങ്ങളും—ആഹാരവും ഉപയോഗവും—ഉദയം ചെയ്തു.
