FAQs

It frames creation as guided by purified, brahma-tejas-filled beings—implying that true Linga-upāsanā begins with inner śuddhi (purification) so the pashu (soul) can align with Pati (Śiva) beyond pasha (impurities).

By presenting agents of creation as ‘stainless’ and ‘sorrowless,’ the verse reflects Śiva-tattva as the pure, unbinding principle (Pati) whose presence enables manifestation without being tainted by rajas, śoka, or other bonds.

The takeaway is śuddhi-oriented sādhanā—Pāśupata-style purification (restraint, inner clarity, and freedom from rajas/śoka) as the prerequisite for effective Śiva-pūjā and contemplative absorption on the Linga.
