It frames uncontrolled krodha as a destructive cosmic force; Linga-worship centers the Pashu (soul) in Shiva (Pati), invoking śānti to cool such “krodhāgni” and restore dharma in the jagat.
By implying that even Shakti’s overwhelming force can throw the world into distress, it points to Shiva-tattva as the transcendent Pati who steadies and harmonizes energies, transforming destructive heat into auspicious order.
The takeaway aligns with Pāśupata discipline: anger is a pasha (bond) to be mastered through japa, dhyāna on the Linga, and śiva-śānti-oriented worship that pacifies inner “krodhāgni.”
