Devas Praise Śiva; Gaṇeśa Manifests as Vighneśvara and Receives the Primacy of Worship
gaṇeśvarāś ca tuṣṭuvuḥ sureśvarā maheśvaram samastalokasaṃbhavaṃ bhavārttihāriṇaṃ śubham
Suta Goswami (narrating the episode; the Gaṇas and Devas are the ones offering praise)
It establishes Maheshvara as the universal source and the remover of saṃsāric suffering, making praise (stotra) a direct devotional act that supports Linga-puja by orienting the worshipper toward Pati, the supreme Lord.
Shiva is presented as samasta-loka-saṃbhava (the causal ground of all worlds) and as bhavārti-hārin (the one who removes the pain of becoming), implying his lordship over pasha (bondage) and his grace toward paśu (the individual soul).
Stotra and nāma-smaraṇa (hymnic praise and remembrance) are highlighted as devotional disciplines aligned with Pashupata orientation—turning the mind from worldly becoming (bhava) toward the auspicious Lord (śubha) who grants release.
