अध्याय १०१: हैमवती-तपः, तारकवंश-उत्पातः, स्कन्द-प्रत्याशा, मदनदहनम्

उमा हैमवती जज्ञे सर्वलोकनमस्कृता तस्याश्चैवेह रूपेण यूयं देवाः सुरोत्तमाः

umā haimavatī jajñe sarvalokanamaskṛtā tasyāścaiveha rūpeṇa yūyaṃ devāḥ surottamāḥ

ഹിമവാന്റെ പുത്രിയായ ഉമ ജനിച്ചു; സർവ്വലോകങ്ങളും അവളെ നമസ്കരിക്കുന്നു. ഹേ സുറോത്തമ ദേവന്മാരേ, ഇവിടെ നിങ്ങൾ അവളെയേ ഈ രൂപത്തിൽ ദർശിക്കുന്നു।
