Brahmā’s Lotus-Birth, the Sealing of the Cosmic Womb, and the Epiphany of Parameśvara

tathetyuktvā mahādevaḥ punarviṣṇumabhāṣata / bhavān sarvasya kāryasya kartāha'madhidaivatam
Mahadeva (Shiva)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: vira
It distinguishes roles within one divine order: Viṣṇu is presented as the effective agent of all actions, while Śiva is the adhidaivata (cosmic superintendent). This supports a non-competitive, integrated view of the Supreme governing action through complementary aspects.
No specific technique is taught in this line, but it frames a key yogic insight: actions are ultimately governed by Īśvara. Such understanding supports karma-yoga and devotion (īśvara-praṇidhāna), aligning personal effort with divine oversight.
It depicts cooperation rather than rivalry: Viṣṇu is affirmed as universal doer, and Śiva as the presiding divine principle—an explicit Shaiva–Vaishnava synthesis typical of the Kurma Purana.
