Adhyāya 25 — Liṅga-māhātmya (The Chapter on the Liṅga): Hari’s Śiva-Worship and the Fiery Pillar Theophany

ततो विस्मयमापन्नौ भीतौ देवस्य शूलिनः / मायया मोहितौ तस्य ध्यायन्तौ विश्वमीश्वरम्

tato vismayamāpannau bhītau devasya śūlinaḥ / māyayā mohitau tasya dhyāyantau viśvamīśvaram

അപ്പോൾ ത്രിശൂലധാരിയായ ദേവന്റെ ആ ഇരുവരും അത്ഭുതവും ഭയവും കൊണ്ട് വിറച്ചു. അവന്റെ മായയിൽ മോഹിതരായി, വിശ്വം തന്നെയായ ഈശ്വരനെ ധ്യാനിച്ചു തുടങ്ങി.
