प्रणम्य शिरसा कण्वमनुज्ञाप्य च दुर्जयः / वाराणस्यां हरं दृष्ट्वा पापान्मुक्तो ऽभवत् ततः

praṇamya śirasā kaṇvamanujñāpya ca durjayaḥ / vārāṇasyāṃ haraṃ dṛṣṭvā pāpānmukto 'bhavat tataḥ

ദുര്ജയൻ തലകുനിച്ച് കണ്വ ഋഷിയെ പ്രണാമം ചെയ്ത് അനുമതി നേടി. പിന്നെ വാരാണസിയിൽ ഹരനെ (ശിവനെ) ദർശിച്ച് അവൻ പാപമുക്തനായി.
