Dakṣa’s Daughters, Cosmic Lineages, and the Population of the Three Worlds

विप्रचित्ति: सिंहिकायां शतं चैकमजीजनत् । राहुज्येष्ठं केतुशतं ग्रहत्वं य उपागता: ॥ ३७ ॥

vipracittiḥ siṁhikāyāṁ śataṁ caikam ajījanat rāhu-jyeṣṭhaṁ ketu-śataṁ grahatvaṁ ya upāgatāḥ

വിപ്രചിത്തി തന്റെ ഭാര്യ സിംഹികയുടെ ഗർഭത്തിൽ നൂറ്റൊന്ന് പുത്രന്മാരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു. അവരിൽ ജ്യേഷ്ഠൻ രാഹു; ശേഷമുള്ള നൂറുപേർ കേതുക്കൾ. അവർ എല്ലാവരും പ്രഭാവമുള്ള ഗ്രഹസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ പ്രാപിച്ചു.
