प्राणस्योर्जस्वती भार्या सह आयु: पुरोजव: । ध्रुवस्य भार्या धरणिरसूत विविधा: पुर: ॥ १२ ॥
prāṇasyorjasvatī bhāryā saha āyuḥ purojavaḥ dhruvasya bhāryā dharaṇir asūta vividhāḥ puraḥ
പ്രാണന്റെ ഭാര്യ ഊർജസ്വതിയിൽ നിന്ന് സഹ, ആയു, പുരോജവ എന്ന മൂന്ന് പുത്രന്മാർ ജനിച്ചു. ധ്രുവന്റെ ഭാര്യ ധരണി; അവളുടെ ഗർഭത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വിവിധ പുരങ്ങൾ (നഗരങ്ങൾ) ഉദ്ഭവിച്ചു.
