Sukta 114
मेदस्वता यजमानाः स्रुचाज्यानि जुह्वतः । अकामा विश्वे वो देवाः शिक्षन्तो नोप शेकिम
médasvatā yajámānāḥ srúcā́jyā́ni juhvátáḥ | akāmā́ víśve vo devā́ḥ śíkṣanto nópa śekím
Though rich in unction, we sacrificers, pouring ghee with the ladle, have not, O all ye Gods, duly served you—whether without right intent; therefore, correcting us, do ye release (the fault’s bond).
ഘൃതസമ്പന്നരായ ഞങ്ങൾ യജമാനർ സ്രുചാ (കരണ്ടി) കൊണ്ട് ഘൃതം ഹോമം ചെയ്യുമ്പോഴും, ഹേ സർവ്വദേവന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങളെ യഥാവിധി സേവിച്ചില്ല—ഇച്ഛയില്ലാതെ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അയോഗ്യഭാവത്തോടെ; അതിനാൽ ഞങ്ങളെ തിരുത്തി, ദോഷബന്ധത്തിൽ നിന്ന് മോചിപ്പിക്കുവിൻ.
