इन्द्रस्य वर्मासि ।तं त्वा प्र पद्ये तं त्वा प्रविशामि सर्वगुः सर्वपूरुषः सर्वात्मा सर्वतनूः सह यन्मेऽस्ति तेन
índrasya vármā́si | táṃ tvā́ prá padyé táṃ tvā́ práviśāmi sárvaguḥ sárvapū́ruṣaḥ sárvā́tmā sárvatanū́ḥ sáha yán me ’sti téna
Thou art Indra’s armour. To thee I betake me; into thee I enter—complete in cattle, complete in men, complete in vital self, complete in body—together with whatsoever is mine, with that (all) I enter.
നീ ഇന്ദ്രന്റെ വർമ്മ (കവചം) ആകുന്നു. ഞാൻ നിന്നിൽ ശരണം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിന്നിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നു—പശുസമ്പത്തിൽ പൂർണ്ണൻ, പുരുഷന്മാരിൽ പൂർണ്ണൻ, പ്രാണാത്മയിൽ പൂർണ്ണൻ, ശരീരത്തിൽ പൂർണ്ണൻ—എന്നിൽ ഉള്ളതെല്ലാം കൂടെ എടുത്തുകൊണ്ട്, അതോടുകൂടി (ഞാൻ) പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നു.
