Sukta 109
स्वादोरित्था विषूवतो मध्वः पिबन्ति गौर्यः । या इन्द्रेण सयावरीर्वृष्णा मदन्ति शोभसे वस्वीरनु स्वराज्यम्
svādóḥ itthā́ viṣūváto mádhvaḥ pibanti gáuryáḥ | yā́ índreṇa sayā́varīr vṛ́ṣṇā mádanti śóbhase vásvīr ánu svārā́jyam ||
Thus, at the turning-point, the tawny ones drink of the honey-sweet draught; they who, moving in one course with Indra, with the Bull, exult for splendour—bounteous—following after sovereign power.
ഇങ്ങനെ വിഷൂവത് (മധ്യബിന്ദു/തിരിവ്) സമയത്ത് ഗൗര്യഃ (താമ്രവർണ്ണികൾ) മധു-മധുരമായ പാനം കുടിക്കുന്നു. ഇന്ദ്രനോടൊപ്പം ഒരേ പാതയിൽ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നവർ, വൃഷ്ണാ (വൃഷഭൻ—ബലവാൻ) കൂടെ ശോഭയ്ക്കായി ആനന്ദിക്കുന്നു—വസ്വീ (സമൃദ്ധി നൽകുന്നവർ) ആയി—സ്വരാജ്യം (സ്വാധീനാധികാരം) പിന്തുടരുന്നു.
