अव स्वराति गर्गरो गोधा परि सनिष्वणत्। पिङ्गा परि चनिष्कददिन्द्राय ब्रह्मोद्यतम्

IAST Transliteration

áva svárāti gárgaro gódhā pári saniṣvaṇat | píṅgā pári caniṣkadat índrā́ya bráhmódyatam

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Lo, Gargara uttereth sound; the iguana resoundeth round about. The tawny one springeth forth around: for Indra is the sacred spell uplifted.

Translation

ഇതാ, ഗർഗര ശബ്ദിക്കുന്നു; ഗോധാ (ഇഗ്വാന) ചുറ്റും മുഴങ്ങുന്നു. പിംഗളൻ (താമ്രവർണ്ണൻ) ചുറ്റും ചാടിപ്പുറപ്പെടുന്നു; ഇന്ദ്രനുവേണ്ടി ബ്രഹ്മമന്ത്രം ഉയർത്തിപ്പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
