इदं हिरण्यं बिभृहि यत् ते पिताबिभः पुरा। स्वर्गं यतः पितुर्हस्तं निर्मृड्ढि दक्षिणम्

IAST Transliteration

idáṃ híraṇyaṃ bibhṛhi yát te pitā́bibháḥ purā́ | svargáṃ yatáḥ pitúr hástaṃ nírmṛḍḍhi dákṣiṇam

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Bear thou this gold, which erst thy father wore of old. From the Father’s hand, whence heaven is won, cleanse thou the right (hand/side) from harm.

Translation

ഈ സ്വർണം ധരിക്ക; പണ്ടുകാലത്ത് നിന്റെ പിതാവ് ധരിച്ചതുതന്നെ. പിതാവിന്റെ കൈയിൽ നിന്ന്—അവിടെ നിന്നാണ് സ്വർഗ്ഗം നേടപ്പെടുന്നത്—വലങ്കൈയെ ഹാനിയിൽ നിന്ന് ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ച്, സുരക്ഷിതമാക്കുക.
