अपूपवानन्नवांश्चरुरेह सीदतु । लोककृतः पथिकृतो यजामहे ये देवानां हुतभागा इह स्थ
apūpavā́n annavā́ṃś carúr eha sī́datu | lokakṛ́taḥ pathikṛ́to yajāmahe yé devā́nāṃ hutabhā́gā ihá sthá
Let the cooked oblation, rich in cake and rich in food, be set down here. We do sacrifice unto the World-builders, the Path-makers, who have their portion in the gods’ oblation: be ye here present.
അപൂപ (കേക്ക്)യും അന്നവും സമൃദ്ധമായ ചരു (പാകമായ ഹവിഷ്) ഇവിടെ സ്ഥാപിതമാകട്ടെ. ലോകകൃതഃ (ലോക-നിർമ്മാതാക്കൾ), പഥികൃതഃ (മാർഗ്ഗ-നിർമ്മാതാക്കൾ) ആയ ദേവന്മാരെ ഞങ്ങൾ യജിക്കുന്നു—ദേവന്മാരുടെ ഹുത (ആഹുതി)യിൽ ഭാഗമുള്ളവർ; നിങ്ങൾ ഇവിടെ സന്നിഹിതരാകുക.
