उप॑हूता नः पि॒तरः॑ सो॒म्यासो॑ बर्हि॒ष्येऽषु नि॒धिषु॑ प्रि॒येषु॑ । त आ ग॑मन्तु॒ त इ॒ह श्रु॑व॒न्त्वधि॑ ब्रुवन्तु॒ तेऽवन्त्व॒स्मान्
upahūtā́ naḥ pitáraḥ somyā́so barhiṣyé ’ṣú nidhíṣu priyéṣu | tá ā́ gamantu tá ihá śruvántv ádhi bruvantu té ’vantu asmā́n
Invited are our Fathers, Soma-worthy: swiftly to the barhis, to the treasured, dear deposits. Let them come hither; here let them hearken; let them speak with authority; let them help and guard us.
ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതൃകൾ—സോമ്യർ (സോമത്തിന് യോഗ്യർ)—ആഹ്വാനിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ ബർഹിഷ്യേ (ബർഹിസ് മേൽ), ഈ പ്രിയവും നിധിപോലുള്ള നിക്ഷേപങ്ങളിലേക്കു വേഗത്തിൽ വരട്ടെ. അവർ ഇവിടെ വരട്ടെ; ഇവിടെ കേൾക്കട്ടെ; അധികാരത്തോടെ വചനം പറയട്ടെ; ഞങ്ങളെ സഹായിക്കുകയും കാത്തുരക്ഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ.
