अमा॑सि॒ मात्रां॒ स्वऽरगा॒मायु॑ष्मान् भूयासम्। यथाप॑रं॒ न मासा॑तै श॒ते श॒रत्सु॒ नो पु॒रा

IAST Transliteration

amā́si mā́trāṃ svàr-agā́m ā́yuṣmān bhūyāsam | yáthā́paraṃ ná mā́sātai śaté śarátsu no purā́ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Month after month (I claim) the measured portion that goes to heaven: may I be life-possessed; that the later share be not diminished by months—(a life) of a hundred autumns for us, as of old.

Translation

മാസംതോറും സ്വർഗ്ഗഗാമിയായ ആ അളക്കപ്പെട്ട പങ്ക് ഞാൻ അവകാശപ്പെടുന്നു; ഞാൻ ആയുഷ്മാനാകട്ടെ. പിന്നത്തെ പങ്ക് മാസങ്ങളാൽ കുറയാതിരിക്കട്ടെ—പുരാതനമായി നിശ്ചയിച്ചതുപോലെ, ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് നൂറു ശരദൃതുക്കളുടെ ആയുസ്സ്.
