वशा यज्ञं प्रत्यगृह्णाद् वशा सूर्यमधारयत्। वशायामन्तरविशदोदनो ब्रह्मणा सह

IAST Transliteration

vaśā́ yajñáṃ práty agṛhṇād vaśā́ sū́ryam adhārayat | vaśā́yām ántar aviśad odanáḥ bráhmaṇā sahá ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Vaśā took hold upon the sacrifice; Vaśā upheld the Sun. Within Vaśā entered the rice-mess, together with the sacred spell.

വശാ യജ്ഞത്തെ പിടിച്ചെടുത്തു; വശാ സൂര്യനെ ധരിച്ചു. വശയ്ക്കുള്ളിൽ ഓദന (അന്നഹവിസ്) പ്രവേശിച്ചു—ബ്രഹ്മണ (പവിത്ര മന്ത്രം) സഹിതം.
