To kill a treacherous high officer—whether while attacking a forest-tract or an enemy village, or while installing a provincial governor or frontier-warden in a remote, wilderness-separated region, or while pacifying an enraged city-quarter, or while seizing recoverable dues from a frontier caravan-route—the king should dispatch a small force reinforced with ‘sharp’ agents.
It provides legitimate movement orders and operational cover, reduces suspicion, and ensures the target is exposed in controlled environments (remote routes, disturbed zones, frontier posts).
A light unit is easier to conceal and maneuver, while specialized agents execute decisive action without requiring large mobilization that would signal intent.
