तस्यातिक्रम उत्तमो दण्डः कर्तुः कारयितुश्च कर्मणा व्यापादनेन च ॥ कZ_०४.८.२० ॥

Transliteration

tasyātikrama uttamo daṇḍaḥ kartuḥ kārayituś ca karmaṇā vyāpādanena ca

Translation

ആ (നിയന്ത്രണം) ലംഘിച്ചാൽ പരമോന്നത ശിക്ഷ—ചെയ്തവനും ചെയ്യിപ്പിച്ച/ആജ്ഞാപിച്ചവനും; കൂടാതെ ആ പ്രവൃത്തിക്കിടെ സംഭവിച്ച ഹാനിയ്ക്കോ മരണത്തിനോയും (ബാധ്യത ഉണ്ടാകും)।
