Rājanīti (Statecraft): Ṣaḍvidha-bala, Vyūha-vidhāna, and Strategic Warfare

कुर्यात् प्रकाशयुद्धं हि कूटयुद्धं विपर्यये तेष्ववस्कन्दकालेषु परं हन्यात्समाकुलं

kuryāt prakāśayuddhaṃ hi kūṭayuddhaṃ viparyaye teṣvavaskandakāleṣu paraṃ hanyātsamākulaṃ

പ്രഖ്യാപിതമായ തുറന്ന യുദ്ധം തന്നെ നടത്തണം; എന്നാൽ പ്രതികൂല സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ കൂറ്റയുദ്ധം—ഗൂഢവും വഞ്ചനാസഹിതവുമായ യുദ്ധം—അവലംബിക്കണം. ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള അപ്രതീക്ഷിത ആക്രമണസമയങ്ങളിൽ ശത്രു കലക്കത്തിലായിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവനെ സംഹരിക്കണം।
