FAQs

It imparts lexical-semantic vidyā: how key Sanskrit adjectives and the term sat are correctly applied across distinct meanings (truth, virtue, existence, praise, and honor-worthiness).

By cataloging synonym-groups and precise senses of important words, it functions like a compact kosha/nirukta entry—showing the Purana’s coverage beyond ritual into grammar, semantics, and poetics-related terminology.

Using sat in its proper senses reinforces dharmic speech—truthful, virtuous, and honor-giving language—considered purifying and supportive of right conduct (sādhu-vṛtti).
