भाण्डानि तु परित्यज्य त्र्यहाद्भूलेपतः शुचिः न विप्रं स्वेषु तिष्ठत्सु मृतं शूद्रेण नाययेत्

ദൂഷിതമായ പാത്രങ്ങൾ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച്, മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തിന് ശേഷം നിലത്ത് മണ്ണ് പുരട്ടുന്നതിലൂടെ ശുദ്ധി ലഭിക്കുന്നു. സ്വന്തം ആളുകൾ സന്നിഹിതരായിരിക്കെ മരിച്ച ബ്രാഹ്മണനെ ശൂദ്രനാൽ ചുമപ്പിക്കരുത്।
