Related Themes: Agni Purana 299.16 (Rahu/Ketu colors and posture)
It gives Jyotiṣa-style correspondences of each graha’s characteristic color and the appropriate garment hue used in Navagraha-related worship, visualization, or remedial observances.
Alongside theology and ritual, the Agni Purana catalogs applied knowledge like astrological identifiers (colors/attire), enabling practical integration of Jyotiṣa into daily and temple rites.
Aligning worship (including dress/color) with a graha’s prescribed attributes is treated as a harmonizing act—supporting propitiation (śānti) and reducing perceived planetary afflictions through disciplined, symbolically correct practice.
