दशमे तापसी चेष्टा निराहारोक्षिमीलनम् घण्टा पताका पिष्टोक्ता सुरामांसबलिः समे

daśame tāpasī ceṣṭā nirāhārokṣimīlanam ghaṇṭā patākā piṣṭoktā surāmāṃsabaliḥ same

ദശമിയിൽ താപസചേഷ്ട—ഉപവാസവും കണ്ണടയ്ക്കലും. കർമത്തിൽ ഘണ്ടയും പതാകയും ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു; പിഷ്ടം (മാവ്) കൊണ്ടുള്ള ബലി നിർദ്ദേശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അതേ കർമത്തിൽ സുരാ-മാംസ ബലിയും അർപ്പിക്കണം.
