सिंही षष्टीति ख शूलहा इत्य् अत्र पुंस्त्वनिर्देश आर्षः मूत्रहा शोषरोगनुदिति ञ जातीपत्रं फलं व्योषं कवलं मूत्रकं निशा दुग्धक्वाथे ऽभयाकल्के सिद्धं तैलं द्विजार्तिनुत्
siṃhī ṣaṣṭīti kha śūlahā ity atra puṃstvanirdeśa ārṣaḥ mūtrahā śoṣaroganuditi ña jātīpatraṃ phalaṃ vyoṣaṃ kavalaṃ mūtrakaṃ niśā dugdhakvāthe 'bhayākalke siddhaṃ tailaṃ dvijārtinut
‘സിംഹീ ഷഷ്ടീ’ (ഖ) സൂത്രത്തിൽ ‘ശൂലഹാ’ എന്ന പദത്തിലെ പുംലിംഗ നിർദ്ദേശം ആർഷ (പ്രാചീന) പ്രയോഗമാണ്; ‘മൂത്രഹാ, ശോഷരോഗനുത്’ (ഞ) എന്നിടത്തും അതുപോലെ. ഇനി ഔഷധം—ജാതീപത്രം, ഫലം (ഏലക്ക), വ്യോഷം (ത്രികടു), കവല, മൂത്രകം, നിശാ (മഞ്ഞൾ) എന്നിവ അഭയാ (ഹരീതകി)യുടെ കല്കത്തോടൊപ്പം പാലിന്റെ ക്വാഥത്തിൽ തൈലം സിദ്ധമാക്കിയാൽ, ആ ഔഷധതൈലം ദ്വിജരുടെ പീഡകൾ ശമിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
