पृच्छितवानस्मि राजेन्द्र तदा मधुरभाषिणीम् । का असि भद्रे कथं वा असि किं वा कार्यमिह त्वया । कर्तव्यं चारुसर्वाङ्गि तन्ममाचक्ष्व शोभने ॥ २.६० ॥

pṛcchitavān asmi rājendra tadā madhurabhāṣiṇīm | kā asi bhadre kathaṁ vā asi kiṁ vā kāryam iha tvayā | kartavyaṁ cāru-sarvāṅgi tan mamācakṣva śobhane || 2.60 ||

ໂອ ກະສັດຜູ້ປະເສີດ, ໃນເວລານັ້ນ ຂ້ອຍໄດ້ຖາມນາງຜູ້ເວົ້າຈາຫວານອ່ອນວ່າ: «ເຈົ້າແມ່ນໃຜ ໂອ ຜູ້ເປັນມງຄົດ? ເຈົ້າເປັນຢ່າງໃດ? ແລະວຽກອັນໃດທີ່ເຈົ້າຕ້ອງເຮັດຢູ່ນີ້? ໂອ ຜູ້ງາມຜູ້ມີອະວະຍະວະອ່ອນຊ້ອຍ, ຈົ່ງບອກຂ້ອຍເຖີດ»។
