तस्यासनं च पाद्यं च सम्यक् तस्य निवेद्य वै । स्वागतातिभिरालापैः परस्परमवोचताम् । कथान्ते नारदं राजा पप्रच्छ ब्रह्मवादिनम् ॥ २.५६ ॥

tasyāsanaṃ ca pādyaṃ ca samyak tasya nivedya vai | svāgatādibhir ālāpaiḥ parasparam avochetām | kathānte nāradaṃ rājā papraccha brahmavādinam || 2.56 ||

ພຣະອົງໄດ້ຖວາຍອາສນະ ແລະນ້ຳລ້າງຕີນ (ປາດຍະ) ແກ່ທ່ານຢ່າງຖືກຕ້ອງ; ແລ້ວທັງສອງໄດ້ສົນທະນາກັນດ້ວຍຖ້ອຍຄຳຕ້ອນຮັບອັນສຸພາບ. ເມື່ອຈົບການສົນທະນາ ພຣະຣາຊາໄດ້ຖາມນາຣະດະ ຜູ້ກ່າວຖຶງພຣະພຣະຫມັນ.
